Fred van Hulst & Karl Deenick

The Branch officially started in 1999. We moved into our new facilities in Kings Meadows in 2006. All of us are just normal people who’ve discovered the good news about what God has done through Jesus.

Our main Bible teacher is Karl Deenick. He’s in his first year at the Branch. He preaches most Sundays and is also involved in training, discipling, leadership and ‘shepherding’. Fred van Hulst is the Branch’s founding pastor and he retired from full-time ministry this year and is now a pastor ‘emeritus’ (which is just a fancy way of saying he still does lots of work for us). Julian Dykman is our pastor-in-training. He’s involved in all the same aspects of ministry as Karl and Fred – preaching, discipling and shepherding.

We also have range of people from the church who, as well as their day to day job, have leadership responsibilities in the church.
